Bill and Jan were born in the 50’s, met in the 60’s married in the early 70’s and started in ministry shortly thereafter that. They have sung together since they were 13 years old. Early on in their ministry, they traveled and did mostly evangelistic work, along with their music ministry. In 1982 they were involved in a weekly Christian television program that reached the central United States and South Western Ontario. At this time they were also involved in various Christian music recordings as backup and harmony singers.

In 1989 they traveled to Chatham Ontario to start a Home Bible Group that consisted of 6 people. In 1990 they severed their employment in the USA and moved to Canada to Pastor the new Zion Christian Church, Chatham, where they now have a wonderful 6,000 sq ft facility that sits on 4 acres of land.

Jan has a heart for outreach, prayer and missions, namely, Israel. She has traveled to Israel over 30 times since 2000, at times as a Tour Leader, and many times as a missionary. She maintains relationships with various orphanages and ministries there. She is still Co-Pastoring with her husband Bill of almost 50 years, has 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Bill’s giftings are teaching and worship leading. He also comes from a strong Management/Quality Control background from his time at General Motors, working in analytics and statistical process control. In 2022, along with Co-Pastoring with his wife Jan, he has taken the position of the Regional Secretary of South Western Ontario for the Independent Assemblies of God International – Canada. It is also at this time, that Bill and Jan will be absorbing the ministry of their Pastor, Liberating Word Ministries, which relates to about 70 Pastors and Churches in the Central United States.

Both Bill and Jan want to help Pastors and Ministries in any way that they can. Drawing from their over 44 years of Ministry experience, 50 years of marriage, and…. almost…. 68 years of … “Life”.
